I’m a software designer and writer in Seattle, with work featured in Fast Company, Forbes, NBC News, and In These Times.

As a designer, I’ve led product launches with Google Maps, Code for America, and The World Resources Institute, on new technology for inclusive maps, free tax filing, and land restoration.

This work has made millions of addresses, routes, and businesses visible for the first time in Google Maps history, resulted in over $90 million in tax refunds in the US, and improved land restoration technology across the globe.

As a writer, I’m the author of Tech Without Losing Your Soul, a newsletter and interview series examining tech’s influence across geographies, burnout and loneliness, and the possibilities for balancing our relationship to technology. I’m also a moderator for UNFINISHED Festival, celebrating art, design, and democracy.
