CITIZEN SCHOOLS
Citizen Schools is a nonprofit organization initiated by the White House that partners with middle schools across the United States to expand learning and STEM education for children in low-income communities. The goal of this project was to officially launch the program by removing friction for mentors to learn about the program, sign up, and participate in an event in their city. Since the launch, Citizen Schools now serves over 5,000 students and recruits over 4,200 volunteers in thirteen cities across seven states.
