File Your State Taxes (Integrated with IRS Direct File)
The first free, mobile-first state tax filing tool in U.S. history, integrated with IRS Direct File, in partnership with Code for America. This pilot enabled taxpayers to securely import federal data, pre-fill their information, and complete state returns in minutes, delivering over $90 million in refunds in 2024, a 96 percent user satisfaction score, and doubled the number of participating states in the next year.
Google Maps for Informal Public Transit
Enabling transit riders living in the most populated cities in the world to view and navigate informal public transport routes—such as buses and shared vans—with estimated fares, shortcuts, traffic and weather updates, plus interactive, 360° Street View images of landmarks and stops. Built in partnership with local startups, including Roadpreppers in Lagos, Nigeria.

A platform and mobile app, built with the World Resources Institute, to match local land restoration projects with funders and provide tools for monitoring, reporting, and verifying their environmental progress.
This platform has matched 6.5 million land restoration projects to funders, supporting over 400 tree farmers from 76 countries.
